Reflections

Have you seen the moment?
When the sun, in all her glory
becomes maker of the glorious.
Beyond warmth,
she turns light rays into magic
magnified by two.
Image maker supreme
in smooth-as-glass mountain tarns,
upon a building’s see-through wall
or in the garden’s sculpture pond.
The beautiful is embellished,
shines double delight.

Yes they are. Especially when they distort reality into something fantastic 🙂

Happy Sunday, Lillian – for many folks (including retired Catholics ;)) a time and a day for reflection. I can think of no better way to reflect than to look upon the great beauty presented to us outdoors – gifts for our eyes and treasures for our souls – if we remember to stop and appreciate. Your lovely words and gorgeous images here, go a long way in helping us remember.
    am:)

Yes…I took them all except George took the Mt Ranier one. Today our church celebrated a Day of Remembrance….special service for veterans from US and Brits. Reflection indeed.
