When the sun, in all her glory
becomes maker of the glorious.
Beyond warmth,
she turns light rays into magic
magnified by two.

upon a building’s see-through wall
or in the garden’s sculpture pond.
The beautiful is embellished,
shines double delight.

Happy Sunday, Lillian – for many folks (including retired Catholics ;)) a time and a day for reflection. I can think of no better way to reflect than to look upon the great beauty presented to us outdoors – gifts for our eyes and treasures for our souls – if we remember to stop and appreciate. Yes…I took them all except George took the Mt Ranier one. Today our church celebrated a Day of Remembrance….special service for veterans from US and Brits. Reflection indeed.
