i am…a frog?

like a pollywog
but continual
constant metamorphosis
life’s playpen journey
never habitual
every step negates that

sister, wife, mother,
teacher, painter, dancer,

daughter is missing
from the list

pollywog always
pollyanna mostly
named wrong
should be polly
could be…

i am…
we are…
you are…
a becomer

your words create a circle around the cycle of life – may be a frog – pollywog – but these images threaded with other pictures remind us of the circle of life – fleeting, round, going, growing life
    happy Monday

Ah….getting to my reading finally….company all gone. Resting my foot which now includes a broken toe (was dislocated too) and has turned a lovely blueish color. Perhaps your artistic eye would find some beauty in this color??? 😦 Now using my cane again….ready for the saga of the right foot/ankle to be over! Just call me wobble-along! Pollywog….remember the pollywog….this too shall pass 🙂

        Oh Lillian,
so very sorry about your foot woes – blue is a good look for sky not skin but yes my friend, whenever I am bruised, I do find the coagulating colors fascinating;)
This too shall most definitely pass.
Here’s to happy healing and a speedy recovery!
