Natural beauty, serene
sits in aura of pine tree wisps.
Feathered creature.
Brown, taupe,
shades of ebony and white.
Round face pivots not.
Stoic eyes stare
as voyeur camera
takes its shot.
Amazing photo taken by my niece, Charli Michele Gruenwald, in her back yard. She lives on Lopez Island in the state of Washington.
Great shot. Great poem about the shot. Salute.

Oh, I can only imagine the thrill your niece had in capturing this gorgeous photo of the beautiful owl. Your poem describes beautifully this magnificent creature. Thank you to both you and your niece. 🐞

I was just blown away when I saw her photo. Took me a month or two to get the words right for it. So glad you enjoyed.
