Cookie Me a Fortune

Ask your mom.
Life is not a struggle. It’s a wiggle.
It could be better, but it’s good enough
Sometimes you just need to lay on the floor.
Ask your mom.

Day 13’s NaPoWriMo prompt is to write a poem from those little slips we find in fortune cookies . Loved this prompt! Each line here is from a fortune cookie image search 🙂

I do sometimes just need to lie on the floor and I often just need to ask my mom for advice/what she thinks. It flows nicely, I like it. Especially the starting and ending with the same line.

It was fun to do…..and challenging when you limit yourself to the exact lines. Glad you enjoyed.

    Oh Lillian,
your words conjured a wiggling baby in a fat diaper – to think of life as a wiggle – hmm,
you know the entire concept makes me smile
and smiling is certainly life affirming
    terrific post
