Somewhere above the sun
Mor Mor, Far Far,
Grampa and Gramma Hallberg,
Florence and Milt
smile so proud,
knowing they live on.
Three generations strong
to laugh, love and care.
“Far Far” is my father’s father in Swedish; “Mor Mor”, my mother’s mother. Photos from this past weekend’s family reunion in the Adirondacks. See previous poem for fun pics!
Quadrille (44 words sans title) with prompt word “sun” written for dVerse.
What joy family brings to our lives.
Okay, now my tears are coming and a smile catches them. This is beautiful and the pictures reinforce the words so carefully written! Thank you!

Nothing is better than being with family! Our ancestors do live on through our lives and generations beyond. ❤
Family becomes the brightest jewel for each of us as we Age. And, of course we all hope that beyond the veil the biggest reunion ever awaits.

Wonderful thoughts of family: those who have gone before us, yet live on in us.
I really enjoyed this take on the prompt. I hope you all had a nice time at your family reunion.
Precious names and photos of the family through the generations. The young children are so sweet and charming. Your smiles say it all – love and unity!
Thanks Lillian for being part of our dVerse team and community.
This is wonderful Lillian — what a clan! 🙂
Your family is beautiful may the unity always be strong. Each smile a ray of sunlight to brighten the day.
Happiness is a gathering with all smiles! Love the photos.
Yes, they are not gone they’re here to stay in all those smiles in your photos! Well done! Beautiful family!
What a lovely occasion to write about, Lill, and how wonderful that you not only have all those family members to gather together but also those ‘somewhere above the sun’.
I like the celebration of your family.
