Everyday, somewhere
irreconcilable change.
Endings pivot to less beginnings
emptiness beside waking self.
Everyday, somewhere
someone’s last dawn
awakens another’s grief.

That’s too sad to contemplate, Lillian.

I lost a dear friend two weeks ago…and somehow, my last morning in Bermuda, watching the dawn..these words flowed. Heartbreaking in its reality.

This is so sad. I sympathize with you in the loss of your friend. I lost a Dear friend two years agi in mid-March. It seems the pain is always there.

It was interesting….I was up early as I always do in Bermuda, watching my last dawn for this visit, and the words “last dawn” came to mind…and from there, these words. I didn’t take a photo that morning….I became so engrossed in my words and memories. I do miss Louise. And I’m sorry for the loss of your friend as well.
