Depression’s Call

Holograph, barely here.
I talk like a moth flitters to light,
shadow boxing.
Grin and bear it.
Buck up.
It’ll get better.
Pearls of wisdom faintly heard.
Like oil bubbles’ thinly veiled colors,
disappear in darkness.
Skim me not.
Help find the me.
Please.

I hear your call for help, as depression is a very stark place to be ~ Specially like this part:

I talk like a moth flitters to light,
    shadow boxing.

Thank you, Grace. I am good……writing this poem from the perspective of so many afflicted with this disease.

Thank you, Bjorn. It truly is — and it’s so misunderstood by so many.
