    Wow hadn’t really thought through the implications of such a policy until I read your poem.

      Yes. When I met with head of AmEx there, he talked about the ramifications for HR departments. As in, the only child policy resulted in many treasured and pampered children who then had no idea how to take constructive criticism on the job. For me, degrees in rhetorical studies, I thought about the literal effect on language.
