Oh mighty one, elusive to so many.
Natives call you Denali,
befitting your magnificence.
You rule acres in the millions
set aside to protect your subjects,
God’s wildlife who coexist
and search the grounds for their sustenance.
Your spirit, whether seen or unseen
infuses them with the grace of nature.
We are humbled by your presence.

    Humbled indeed, Lillian.
It is magnificent. I imagine the heightened sense one must gain, amid such majesty.
Nature’s magical inspiration is apparent in your expressive words here.

It is truly breath taking! 14 hour tour with National Park naturalist: saw grizzlies, caribou, moose, magical Dahl sheep, many different birds, glaciers. What a magnificent place, this Alaska!

Only 30% of those who come to see Denali (Mt McKinley),actually see her. Similar (and taller than) to Mount Rainer in Seattle, she is often in the clouds. We were so fortunate — absolutely awe inspiring!

Access in Juneau so can respond now. So glad you liked it!
Alaska is such an awesome land mass. Just returned from a hike in the Forest to see the Mendenhall Glacier!
