Meander

FullSizeRender

I sit rocking beyond dusk
eyes closed, lips parted, catching
the soft scent of nearby lilacs.

Eyes within this face of mine
cannot see me, but painfully
know my averageness.

Hours later your hands meander
the lines and hollows of my face
and somehow, my beauty is unleashed.

Eloquent poetry touching my heart and soul as I read this morning. I love this!= (and everything you write). I’ll be back later on to read more.

So glad you’re enjoying the meandering. πŸ™‚ I truly have been enjoying finding my “voice” in the written word! Always nicer when someone reads and feels the “sense” of the poem too.

I’m certainly enjoying the “voice” you have been finding.
