I.
sprigs of green peek out
crocus, tulips, daffodils
ready to spring forth

II.
shedding winter coats
pregnant bellies everywhere
spring phenomenon

III.
lily pad squatter
spring-like legs tense, eyes take aim
SPLAT, misjudged its mark

    Love the frog’s failure. I’m sure he had another chance. I just never thought of him ever missing. 😀

      We used to have a lily pond near where we lived in Iowa, about 20 years ago. In the beginning of the season, some of the lily pads were not fully stretched out and you’d hear that PLOP — and then see a frog swimming to another! 🙂
