Miss Autumn

She lifted her can-can skirt
for all the world to see,
well beyond a peek-a-boo look!

Layers of crimson and gold
bedazzle with voluptuous shimmers
as high kicks accompany a stiff breeze!

How I love the fall season in Boston! Another razzle-dazzle poem for dVerse, the virtual pub for poets! Come see what other folks have written to bedazzle you!

All those glorious colors….really like the underside of a can-can skirt! 🙂

Here, the Beech when they turn, are golden and glowing…such a beautiful time.

I remember the beautiful quaking shimmering Aspen in Colorado. Sounds similar.

Aye…similar…Scotland has it’s own flavour though for sure.

This is fun. I love the image of leaves like sassy can can girls. 💛

So glad! Those can-can skirts are such brilliant colors and I could just imagine the trees lifting up their “skirts” to show off those leaves! 😉
