Wandering Troubadour

Serial killer, folksong singer,
croons Pete Seeger tunes.
Strums guitar strings
while pressing fret on neck.

Wicked smile then splays his lips
when nightfall comes, he changes gigs.
Metal strings undone from fret
now seek a human neck.

Reminder note:
new strings needed tomorrow.

Yup! Have no idea where these dark things come from….sometimes they just appear on the page from my pen!!!! Truly, I am a very kind, law abiding, gentle person! šŸ™‚

My goodness, Lill, your troubadour is scary, with his serial killer smile and metal guitar strings! He would make an excellent character in a crime thriller.

Very dark Lillian. You see these people on the street and don’t know what secrets they carry. Yikes indeed.

Oh Toni….sometimes I shock myself when I see what I’ve written. Truly, I am a very gentle person. But somehow, these words wrote themselves!

Hah….fingerprints on the guitar strings? Or because he’s a troubacour…which usually means wandering….is he able to strike and then move on? Oh dear….HOW can I write things like this????

You just never know what some peoples’ moonlighting might be. Sounds like labors of love for both. lol

Wow, the stuff of novellas. Garroting is a favorite of assassin’s tools, but a guitar string is inspired; smile.

Yeah well….this guy is definitely puffing on Puff the Magic Dragon’s drug of choice and hopefully, won’t wander too long before he’s caught! Sometimes I just look at the words I’ve written and truly don’t know where they came from! Dark side for this one….and truly I’m really a Pollyanna at heart!
