Ah, thank you Victoria. After a bit of a respite, I am back to my daily writing. Had some mysterious allergic reaction in my eyes….so good to see myself as myself again.
So glad your allergies have subsided now. For us, it is torture not to be able to read or write. I’m back as much as I can be, too. Still in a somewhat care-giving mode. All is good.
So very true! 🙂 Feels good to be back. Strange allergice response to something in my eyes had me as a swelled up cyclops … or however you spell that. Through it all, spouse was putting in drops and still seeing me as me 🙂

Have been missing my daily writing with a very mean and grotesque allergy in my eyes….looked like a cyclops so swollen in one eye…and through it all, husband was doing drops and still smiling and seeing me as me…which motivated this. Am finally back to seeing the world with two good eyes! 🙂 And a delight to find your reply here today. Thank you again! 🙂
Thank you, Jilly. Am finally seeing the world through two good eyes again and will be grateful to get back to dVerse today. Some very strange and extreme allergic reaction to something we think flew into my eye a week ago Sunday — pollen? a piece of a flower? something while walking on the esplanade here. From Tuesday AM on I looked like a swollen cyclops and the other eye not quite as bad. Through it all, husband patiently put in drops, kept smiling at me….and motivated this poem 🙂 Glad you enjoyed! I had one other post scheduled (Barefoot) and will get to reading comments from that a bit later this morning. Off to follow-up doc now…smiling and looking normal again. 🙂
