Yay… this is wonderful.. love the sweetness of a heart… here in Sweden the only solid tradition for Valentine is to eat heartshaped jelly candy.

Ah….these hard candies with words printed on them are a US tadition but in, I think they do not taste very good! Chocolates are much preferred by so many —- and stores are full of heart shaped boxes of chocolates from all kinds of chocolatiers. Florists love Valentine’s day in terms of red roses. And I’ve found it is a VERY popular holiday in Bermuda! A very popular night to eat dinner out and restaurants have special menus and special desserts too. 🙂

Wonderful wishes, wrapped in the sweetest brevity. Bjorn was my Muse today, so mine is dark chocolate. It should be interesting to find out how many “heart” poems will have dramatic implications. My wife hates candy. i give her money in a card.

Yours was indeed dark chocolate…and intense! I wonder if anyone will “hide” the heart somewhere, between the conjoining of two words……harsh earth…

I’m amazed that you can find time to write a poem while you are enjoying Bermuda, Lillian. And such a sweet poem. I like the idea of heart candies on a Scrabble board – or should it be truth or dare? 🙂

Smiling I am. Actually, I am up early in the morning with my steaming cup of coffee, out on our deck with the aquamarine waters in front of me….it is truly food for the soul and the writing flows. 🙂

Love how you dropped “ganache” in there out of the blue…only thing is, if you do that at my place, you’ll have to clean it up! Love!

Sigh. Pardon me, as I check my glucose level, after reading this sweet poem. Darn candies have risen my glucose, above acceptable levels. And, I so miss having this heart shaped candies, from my youth.
