In the words of a woman I still admire, Together We Can……It Takes a Village.

Sunshine and freedom as verbs – YES. At first I read “compassion” that way, too. “compassion all.” Also yes.

Glad you enjoyed! Such an amazing day it was…and so many are resolved to keep the positive spirit and fight through these four years. Although I just read the bills he’s signed today and that he’s considering eliminating the National Endowment for the Arts…HOPING that is fake news!

So good to see such an amazing response. Love the pink hats. Just read there from Sierra Club news of a climate march response for April. Our thoughts are with you and the rest of the world needs to see this resistance too!

Ah….I wonder if you’re talking about the one that the Union of Concerned Scientists are publicizing for April 29th in DC? My husband and I would both DEFINITELY be there except we will be in Iceland then! We definitely need to keep up the resistance move…even as legislation and executive orders seem to change the order of the universe here.

Oh, enjoy Iceland. Am wondering if we might try a visit in April. Seems strange this change of law at a stroke of a pen by one person. The U.K. Is stuttering over Brexit legislation now and a nation divided and confused too!

Trying desperately to keep hope alive in the midst of frenetic executive orders and pending legislation here. For me, the most frightening of all came yesterday with a literal gag order — an executive order for national offices to cease all communication with the public including the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Parks Services, the National Agricultural Agency, the Center for Disease Control, etc. To outlaw communication….it just doesn’t seem possible that this can be happening. Somehow we must hold up a beacon of hope for the next four years.

It is unbelievable. Really scary. I might be living in an echo chamber here, but all the people from the US who I’ve “met” through blogging seem so open, and thoughtful and liberal in their views. I’m glad I’ve found that.

I really like the idea of “march-singing.” In March, of course. 🙂

Yes, we need some sunshine! I am so proud of the many Canadians who traveled to join in your marches. This is a global situation.

It is a global situation…..and it gets, in my estimation, more frightening every day. I do believe we will have a throwback to the 60’s and it will become 4 years of demonstrations and controversy. But…as one of the verifying poems said “and hope electrons through the night.” It is definitely the time to stay alert and active!
