Effervescent, she shook up life
until it bubbled delicious.
Wore glitter star barrettes
high-kicking through life
like a sequined Rockette.
Bjorn is tending the bar today at dVerse and asks us to write a Twitter poem:

Yep, that’s me. About 10 years ago, celebrating with the Boston Pops on the 4th of July on the esplanade. This shot made the jumbotron that night! I always wanted to be a Rockette! 🙂
Wonderful image Lillian.. what joy in those high kicks… Would you believe me if I said that 10 years ago I did dance aerobic once a week… Ha.. a lonely guy among all those gals…

No Zumba back then… but plenty of quite advanced movements… I kept doing it several years actually.

Fabulous poem and what a great photo! Jumbotron images are ginormous, yes?

Huge!! Someone had taken this photo the year before and about an hour before the concert, it appeared up there on a continuous loop! This is a photo of it on the jumbotron😊 Boston and the Pops really do up the 4th!

You go, girl. BTW, how are your assorted injuries? Couldn’t help myself…the photo reminded me.

Dug out my cane from Bermuda. I’m hobbling along. No high kicks for a while — but I still have a barrette in my hair😊😉

What fun. Can’t get the image of Bjorn jumping around for years with all those gorgeous women; life can be tough. Great set of you, & wonderful memory share. Your levity heightens our celebration for sure.

Thanks, Glenn. Yes — I think we should start a petition for Bjorn to post a video of him dancing 🙂

I will sign that petition to see a photo of Bjorn in a roomful of dancing women! 🙂 I love that totally joyous photo of you, Lillian. I don’t think a person could look any happier! Nothing like the 4th in Boston…that’s for sure!
